How do you deal with AI Output of your boss?

So, my boss goes on a rampage. You can clearly see the joy and at the same time the rage and impatience. AI is the tool he always wanted. We are too slow. Process is out of the window. No need for sprints anymore. No planning, just doing. All people downstream must somehow adapt. Whenever i see now his automated messages in slack, my natural reaction is: why do i even bother reading that? Thats for machines to read. He does not need me? Clearly i am not made for that. What is he expecting me to ...

Elon Musk settles lawsuits over $1 million voter giveaway

In 2024, Elon Musk promised to give away $1 million a day to a randomly selected registered voter in a swing state. That prompted legal challenges, raised questions about its legality, and drew lawsuits from two Arizona residents claiming the lottery was a fraud. Musk has now agreed to settle the two lawsuits filed in […]

Mercedes-AMG’s first ground-up SUV is a 1,150hp electric beast

Earlier this year, Mercedes' AMG performance brand grabbed our attention with the GT four-door coupe, a souped-up sports sedan with three axial flux motors delivering over 1,150 horsepower. Well, now meet its beefier cousin, the 2028 Mercedes-AMG GT SUV, an equally powerful, ultra-fast-charging electric people-hauler. The AMG GT SUV (say that five times fast) marks […]

TikTok bans Musk documentary account

Just ahead of the wider release of Alex Gibney's Musk documentary, TikTok has banned the film's social media account from its platform. TikTok did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Solid Glass Adds an AI UI Theme to shadcn/ui Projects

Solid Glass is a public GitHub project that packages a glass-inspired design system for AI applications as a stylesheet intended to work with shadcn/ui. For developers building chat and agent interfaces, its practical proposition is narrow but useful: the stylesheet targets the data-slot attributes and classes that existing shadcn/ui components already carry, so adoption is presented as a theme integration rather than a component rewrite. E-commerce Product Search: 5 Query Bounds for Grounded Semantic Retrieval

In e-commerce product search, semantic retrieval starts with a constraint: a result is only as trustworthy as the catalog revision, tenant boundary, and source identifier that travel with it. An unbounded nearest-neighbor call can return plausible product text, but it can't explain why an unavailable SKU appeared twice. Short answer: use a staged retrieval design with explicit collections, bounded queries, and source context that can be traced back to the exact e-commerce document. That ch...

Flutter vs. React + Capacitor in 2026: Which Stack Saves More Time & Budget for Your Business App?

If you are a founder or business owner planning to build a cross-platform mobile app for iOS and Android in 2026, you will immediately face a critical technical decision: Should we build it in Flutter, or use a Web-to-Mobile stack like React + Capacitor? Pick the wrong stack for your specific use case, and you can easily add 4 to 6 extra weeks to your development timeline. At VanzaLabs, we don't treat technology choices like a religion. In fact, we recently built and shipped two production...

What Artificial Intelligence Actually Is

TL;DR: Artificial intelligence is a capability of computational systems, software that takes in information about its surroundings and works toward the goals it was given; the working definition promises no copy of a person, and the field’s record never delivered one. The field opened with a 1955 bet that behavior described precisely enough can be simulated; John McCarthy named it in that same proposal. The build pipeline runs one way: an algorithm trains on a dataset, training produces ...

Cross-Cultural Communication: lesson from The Culture Map

AI-generated image for illustrative purposes In this post, I'll try to break down an example described in the book "The Culture Map: Breaking Through the Invisible Boundaries of Global Business" by Erin Meyer. The author begins her book with a situation that we face almost every day. She had to prepare a senior executive from a major automotive company for cultural adaptation before his upcoming relocation to Wuhan, China, for work. To do this, she arranged for a Chinese cultural exper...

NinjaTrader 8 Calculate: On Bar Close vs On Each Tick

A signal you were watching live is gone when you sit down at the chart the next morning. Or it happens the other way around: yesterday's chart is covered in clean marks, and today the same indicator paints something that shows up mid-bar, wobbles for a while, and settles somewhere else. The usual conclusion is that the indicator is broken, or that it repaints. Usually it is neither. It is one dropdown, plus a piece of NinjaTrader behavior that the dropdown never mentions. Where th...

My site publishes a blog post a day while I sleep — no cron, no CMS (week 6 build-log)

Part 3 of building PipAtlas in public. Part 2 covered the first five weeks of real search data. This week I wired the thing every content site eventually needs: a blog that publishes on schedule, generates its own illustrations, and heals its own broken links — running inside a single Node process, no cron jobs, no CMS, no AI slop. The constraint that shaped everything The blog had one job: one post per day, from a queue of markdown drafts, published to static HTML with a regenerated index a...

We Did It: Our First Client Project Is Live

We did it. TTMCHANGE just delivered our first project for a real client, Tacliin Online. A few months ago this was just an idea between a few young Somali developers in Mogadishu. We had skills, late nights, and a lot of ambition, but no clients. Today a business is actually using something we built. Honestly, that feeling is hard to describe. Getting that first yes was the hardest part. A lot of businesses here are still unsure about trusting a young local tech team, and we understand why...
