One small advice that changes everything if you are new.

If you are in r/saas , you are looking to make products or searching one. I'm Irbaaz, I have been in SaaS industry for few years, sharing my learnings for young people. If you are new, start by taking small steps daily, treat it like marathon. Start by small helpful posts on different platform, form connections through comments and dms and start networking daily. Do heavy research on ideas before spraying and praying. Do not follow the crowd w...

I don't understand my SaaS

It’s been a month since I shipped my SaaS, and I’m really confused about where to go from here. Since launching, I’ve been trying to market it organically for the past three weeks. The problem is that I get users, but they don’t stick around. Retention is very low. Out of 85 signups, only 5 users have returned. For context, my app is an AI orchestration platform where users can run multiple LLMs in parallel workflows and use deeper analysis tools to compare how their answers differ. It was o...

What feature did your team spend months building that nobody actually wanted?

I was discussing product development with a few founders recently, and one theme kept coming up: Teams often build features based on assumptions instead of actual user demand. The result: Months of development Increased complexity More support requests Very low adoption For founders, product managers, or developers: What's a feature your company invested heavily in that users barely touched? How did you discover it wasn't delivering value? And did it change the way you pr...

How do you even get users?

I know this community is filled with experienced founders who got thier first users as soon as they talked about it on social media but i am a noobie okay. I have tried what i could -> instagram dms, reddit dms, youtube videos, reddit posts and none of them worked. I wasn't able to get a single user. Let me give you guys a brief explanation of my project. It is a platform for restaurants and ngos dealing with food insecurity. Currently many restaurants throw away food at the night which other...

How do “vibe coders” actually handle infrastructure and ship?

I’m a programmer, and I’m genuinely trying to understand the logistics of the "vibe coding" trend. I'm referring to those with little to no knowledge when it comes to programming. I get how an LLM can create a frontend or standard route handlers. But how do vibe coders handle the actual backend required to ship a real product? The secrets, database, storage, etc. Are these done automatically by web builders like Loveable/Replit?

People say "great product wins." So why won't anyone pay?

Has anyone here launched a SaaS that took months before getting paying users? I'm feeling pretty discouraged. Building was hard, but convincing people to actually try the product and especially pay for it feels even harder. I'd love to hear some real success stories: * How long did it take before you got traction? * What finally worked? * How did you convince people to trust and pay for your product? Sometimes it feels like everyone is interested until it's time to pull out a credit card...

i made $2,184 in the last 30 days from a small mac app

i am still very early, so i am not posting this like i have everything figured out. i just wanted to share what worked for me so far, because i know there are a lot of people building things while also trying to make rent, get their first users, or just prove to themselves that one of their projects can actually make money. the app is pretty simple. it helps you save time by talking instead of typing. you can use it for prompts, replies, notes, messages, random thoughts, or anything where typi...

How are you handling organic reach for getting first 100 users?

I did a soft launch of my SaaS, then got 100s on waitlist, but my tech glitched, so had to postpone the proper launch to a few months Waitlist didn't convert (not even 10%) Now, we remodelled the features an rebranded. I haven't launched or shared it anywhere, as I made a mistake before, lol/ I wanna do a pilot launch of first 10 users, validate and get feedback. Would you allow users with disposable email addresses to keep using your SaaS?

I noticed a few users signing up using temporary email services. My first reaction was to block or delete those accounts. But when I checked the activity logs in the admin panel, one of them had actually uploaded a WhatsApp voice note and generated a transcript. Another had used the speech-to-text feature multiple times. now Im confused because..... on one hand, disposable emails can be used for abuse, avoiding limits, and creating multiple accounts. and on the other hand, some people ...

Make it exist first

Everyone says: "Make it exist first, then make it better." I understand the idea behind this advice don't spend years perfecting something before validating whether people actually want it But here's what I struggle with: What if the product I'm building already has established competitors? If I launch an MVP with only the basic features, why would anyone switch from an existing solution to mine? Most successful products today aren't entering empty markets. They're competing ag...

At what point does “cheap AI” stop being cheap?

The per-request cost looks tiny until users start retrying, uploading huge files, or running the same task five times. I’m curious how early-stage SaaS founders decide when to limit usage, charge by credits, or just raise the subscription price.

AI Chatbot SaaS vs AI Resume Scoring: Which Has Better Business Potential in 2026?

I'm trying to decide which AI SaaS product to build and would love feedback from founders or people working in B2B SaaS. I'm considering two ideas: AI Chatbot Platform – Businesses can add an AI assistant to their website, train it on documents, and use it for customer support or lead generation. AI Resume Scoring / HR Copilot – Recruiters upload resumes and a job description, and the AI ranks candidates, explains the match, identifies skill gaps, and generates interview questions. ...

Overbuilt before distribution. Zero Users, now what? [B2C SaaS]

Hey everyone, I wanted to share our story and get honest feedback from this community on what we should do next. We are international students who graduated last year. While we were in school, we kept running into the same daily problem: grocery shopping, deciding what to eat, managing ingredients in our kitchen, trying to eat a balanced diet, and tracking meals. This all felt repetitive and disconnected. The more we looked at it, the more we realized these were not separate problems. They...

Every SaaS eventually hits a dispute problem as it scales. We built a Stripe app for the part nobody wants to do.

Posting this under the sub's promo allowance. I'm one of the people who built WinBack, so this is a pitch, but I tried to make it a useful one. Here's the pattern almost every subscription business hits eventually. You launch, growth is good, and then the disputes start. "I didn't authorize this renewal." "I forgot I subscribed." "I cancelled" (they didn't). Friendly fraud you can't prevent. At low volume you ignore them. Then the volume isn't low anymore, and thr...

Genuine Question for Solo Founders without a Coding background

Hey everyone, I'm working on an AI-based news credibility analysis tool and wanted some advice from people who have scaled AI products. The idea: Instead of simply saying "fake" or "real", it analyzes multiple signals: • Credibility score • Source reliability • Factuality estimate • Propaganda risk • Bias indicators • Explanation behind the analysis Current stack: React + Node.js I also implemented a multi-provider fallba...

I think building as a solo founder is incredibly lonely

I've been actually incredibly locked in over the last 3 months working on my latest startup solo venture. Filming youtube videos, marketing, coding, cold calling customers. The one thing I'm having a hard time with is there is no one I can talk to about this. I'd like to start a community of founder...
