What platform has the best AI CMO?

I've seen heycatch and okara, maybe a few others like it... seems like they plug into reddit api and provide ai ugc tools. Does anyone have any success using tools like these? I wouldn't imagine much, but I wanted to get a temperature check. What's working, whats not? Comments URL: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49443800 Points: 1 # Comments: 0

Introducing Crypts and Commits

The Audience I Didn't Know I Had — Part One There is a lot of conversation right now about one developer coordinating forty coding agents. I am not going to pretend I know whether that is good or bad. It is clearly a real model of working, and there are people doing remarkable things with it. But I keep coming back to a more ordinary question: what does agentic development look like for a team of ten developers, each working with one or two agents, while still staying in sync with one ano...

Tab is whitespace, so your TSV parser is not one

TSV is the format shell speaks. jq -r @tsv , git for-each-ref --format , ps --format , anything piped into awk -F'\t' — when a shell script needs columns, it gets tabs. And the canonical way to read them back is one line everybody has written: IFS = $' \t ' read -r a b c That line does not read TSV. It reads something else that looks exactly like TSV until a column is empty , and then it hands you the wrong value in a variable with the right name. Every ...

Most Kubernetes clusters can't tell you what their GPUs cost

I built a small tool to answer one question: how many GPU-hours is a cluster paying for and not using? Then I pointed it at real production clusters. Not one of them could answer the question out of the box and the reasons are the same everywhere, because they're all defaults nobody changes. Here's what I found, in the order it bit me. 1. The utilization metric everyone reports doesn't mean what you think Almost every GPU dashboard is built on DCGM_FI_DEV_GPU_UTIL . It's ...

We paid real USDC 1,596 times to x402 endpoints. 653 settled.

x402 is the HTTP 402 payment protocol: a server answers 402 Payment Required with the price and the address, the client pays, and the request goes through. Coinbase's Bazaar catalog now lists tens of thousands of these endpoints. The protocol proves that money moved. It does not prove that anything was delivered. We have been buying from that catalog with real money to find out what actually happens after the payment. Here are the numbers as of 2026-08-26, straight from our public sta...

.NET 10 BufferedStream WriteByte: Flush Full Buffers Explicitly

BufferedStream.WriteByte had a surprising side effect through .NET 9: the call at its internal capacity boundary also called Flush() on the wrapped stream. The .NET 10 BufferedStream WriteByte behavior removes that implicit flush. Bytes can still move to the underlying stream when the buffer needs room, but that capacity boundary no longer becomes an accidental flush boundary. That distinction matters when a custom stream, protocol adapter, compressor, or test double gives Flush() obse...

Let AI Write the Mac OS App Without Learning Swift

AI keeps accelerating through the tech industry. Just like many other laid-off tech workers, I feel little miserable how far has AI really affected companies to minimize or eliminate junior to mid level software engineers. Starting last year I've been using the basics of premium GitHub plan with various versions of Claude Code, Gemini, and GPT, to generate bare bones of applications and components, use auto-inspect-and-suggest coding segments, and ask technical questions about certain issues i...
