Ran my tool over the personal finance/budgeting space. Pulled ~18 apps and looked at what they actually ship vs what people keep asking for. Two things lined up in a way I didn't expect. On the supply side: only 7 of the 18 apps list automatic transaction categorization as a real feature. The rest either make you tag every transaction by hand or have categorization so bad people complain about it by name.
