Ask HN: What is your go-to prompt to prove AI can be wrong?

Just over-heard one of our seniors trying to explain to a new intern that AI can actually be wrong, no matter how much its answers sound very eloquent and well-structured. I was wondering what question/prompt everyone uses to prove so to others. I assume it depends on each person's expertise, or some people ask about a fact that is well-known as having been a victim of the mandela effect. P.S. As a non-native speaker, I was about to pass my submission through AI to improve text clarity and under...

Agent frameworks solved one problem. What solves the next one?

Over the last year we've seen an explosion of agent frameworks, orchestration libraries, and coding agents. Building agents are becoming easier every month, and honestly, that's no longer the part I find most interesting. The bigger question is what happens after an organization starts running dozens or hundreds of agents across different teams, workflows, and environments. At that point, the challenge stops being agent creation and starts becoming agent operations. Things like deployment, acc...

Anyone else noticed how broken enterprise AI + PII handling actually is?

We've been building an AI gateway for the past few months and hit a problem we didn't expect. Most enterprises we talked to either banned LLM tools completely or are quietly using them and hoping compliance doesn't notice. When we dug into why, it kept coming back to the same thing β€” they can't send raw customer or patient data to an external LLM, and the tools that claim to solve this only do half the job. They redact before sending. Fine. But the LLM response comes back with placeholders a...

Show HN: I made the Chrome Dino Game editable by your AI prompts

In 2024 Google Labs released GenDino: a version of the Chrome Dinosaur Game that let users turn prompts into skins. GenDino is dead. The Dino Game happens to be OS, so I forked it and created Vibedino to let your prompts change the actual game. Make the dino front-flip every time it jumps. Add a hard mode after 1000m. Break my backend by implementing the full PageRank algorithm. Give it the dumbest feature idea you can think of and then approve it yourself to deploy to the main site! Comment...
