I've been looking at smart glasses and genuinely confused about what they're solving. Camera glasses (Rayban Meta, Xreal, etc.) - Why not just use a GoPro? Better specs, cheaper, longer battery. Display glasses (Vision Pro, Quest) - Heavy, expensive, motion sickness. Why not just use VR at home or check your phone? AI-only glasses (Dymesty, translation glasses, etc.) - My phone already has plenty of AI assistants. Does it just make things more convenient? When would I actually need glasses...
