Show HN: ANMA, boundary contracts for cheaper AI coding agents

I built ANMA because I noticed that cheaper models would often ignore architecture rules. So I did several benchmarks using "Claude Haiku 4.5" with and without ANMA; without ANMA it ignored the "rules" 13 out of 19 runs, with ANMA, 0 out of 20 runs. What is "ANMA"? YAML contracts with CLAUDE.md, hooks, and CI checks What about stronger/expensive models? They followed the architecture rules. The question is, would cheaper models with stronger rules be the best affordable default for coding? ...

Why does AI fail?

The title is a bit dramatic, haha, but anyway, I have a pretty serious question: why does AI fail when implemented in a company? Does it have anything to do with Anthropopic and OpenAI opening their your own consultancies? What do you think are the reasons why AI implementation fails in a company?

Most AI security tools inspect messages. Arc Gate inspects sessions.

One thing that’s always felt weird to me about prompt injection defenses is that they usually evaluate one message at a time. But a lot of the attacks I’m seeing don’t really work that way. A webpage says something subtle. A tool result reinforces it. An email adds another nudge. Nothing looks obviously malicious on its own, but a few turns later the agent is heading somewhere it definitely shouldn’t. That was the motivation behind Arc Gate. Instead of looking at each message in isolatio...

Where do you see prediction and decision-making separating in AI systems?

A lot of AI systems are used for prediction tasks like forecasting outcomes, generating outputs, or estimating probabilities based on data. One thing I keep thinking about is how these systems are used in practice once they are connected to real workflows. In some cases, they stay focused on prediction, while in others they seem to become part of how decisions are made using those predictions. I am trying to understand where people draw the line between a system that only produces predictions an...

How do you talk to your management about how to use ai for work management?

We got given ai with no instructions. But all the tools are there to make a work structure rather easily. Where and how to put information so the ai can read it for all the people in the team. And although it's there and fairly seamlessly built in the pattern for how to use it isn't. So I went to talk to my boss about how to apply a structure to integrate AI into the work structure. How? How do you get management to understand where information needs to be put. How to get them to use...

Show HN: Jacobi–IDE for Abaqus subroutine with analytical tests and AI diagnosis

I write Abaqus UMAT subroutines as a graduate student in computational mechanics. These are complex multi-physics simulation models using Abaqus Fortran subroutines (UMAT ~ mechanical behavior, UMATHT ~ heat/diffusion and a lot more) that simulate how different material systems fail under high temperature or manufacturing processes. However, the entire process has been quite challenging, 80-90% of time is actually spent on how make Abaqus CAE simulate a physics you already know on paper or what ...
