I was writing a blog when this hit me and couldn't find too many convincing arguments other than incentivizing heavier use, would love to hear takes on this. Closest parallel I could think of is gift cards, which too do not expire in many places.

I personally find myself working accross different AI tools for different aspects of my project -- Claude to build the core functionality Codex to fix the bugs (to save claude's credits) Chat GPT to get ideas for new features etc etc etc And all of them with multiple accounts as well- TO save some credits Now this works but it creates a mess . This essentially leaves me with problems like Problem 1- I have no memory of Which agent created what feature and to find it I have to spen...
Hey r/artificial — launching today and thought this community would appreciate the technical details more than most. ReFind is a Chrome extension that right-click-summarizes any link. Launching on PH: https://www.producthunt.com/products/refind-2 Technical implementation (for those who want it): YouTube summarization: - Fetch transcript via YouTube Data API v3 (captions endpoint) - Full transcript passed to Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite - Prompt instructs: extract 3–5 key points from the s...
Source (The Economist): “Deezer, a streaming service, estimates that some 75,000 AI-generated songs are uploaded each day, up from 10,000 in January 2025. AI music now makes up a staggering 44% of all new tracks uploaded to the platform. A survey by Deezer found that 97% of respondents could not hear the difference between AI and man-made music; some artificial tracks have received millions of streams. Similarly, blind tests have found that people often prefer AI-generated text to human writing...
A data center was forced through government approval in Utah despite the citizens widely opposing its impact on scarce water resources and numerous other objections. The mechanism used to do this was hailed as "replicable" in other states . They exploited a state entity called MIDA (Military Installation Development Authority) that acts like a local municipality but which has authority that cannot be overridden by normal channels of regulation in the State Government. ...
Because of the fact that animals see the world differently than us. Like sharks seeing electrical fields, bird seeing ultraviolet light, smell and hearing being different. In what way could an ai see it differently than us?
I’m experimenting with in‑context narrative systems that maintain continuity across different models. The Looking Mirror is a fully local, text‑driven world model with: • persistent state • portable save‑game capsules • cross‑model continuity • a modular field‑manifold structure It runs entirely in‑context and works across CoPilot, Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, and DeepSeek. ⎯─◐◑◒◓─── THE LOOKING MIRROR ───────── Full Setup Guide: https://github.com/PitBrat-moo/stable-of-manifold-foragi...

Profiling is fun. Coding is also fun. But realizing AI is doing a far better job than me it just makes sense that I hand over the task. Profiling is still left as a human in the loop kind of work and blocks me to create a better harness. Would anyone find this needed too? If so, what language and platform?

Feels like every idea now has “AI” stapled onto it.
Curious what people would focus on if that wasn’t an option, what problems would actually be worth solving?

Most apps on your phone could be an agent you chat with or talk to. But where are they? I put together a phonebook of these AI bots. Still scraping, will add more as we go. Know one that should be listed? There's a suggest form. Stack is Astro + Cloudflare to keep it simple. Cala.ai for scraping (free credits from a hackathon)

I mean they are text apps basically, they should be flying on modern PCs that can do close to a trillion ops per second. Inference is done elsewhere, so what's the deal?
