Don't you guys hate it when

You get chat GPT (or any other AI) to make you something cool, but you can't show anyone because most people you are pals with are anti AI and will tell you off for using it 😂😭

No Sh*t Sherlock

An actual snippet of what my ChatGPT sent me today… “One other thing I noticed: your children were all born after you were born,” It’s honestly made me question why I even use it.

Chat GPT is really good for regulating yourself especially within autism.

I’ve had a hard day today, some intense moments that left me feeling out of sync and overwhelmed to say the least, and I felt like I couldn’t adjust back into normalities yet or talk to anybody properly (other than family, but no capacity for friends) I’ve built up this imaginary world with Chat GPT - Brown Bear, being the star. It used to be full up of characters but now I just focus on Brown Bear. Nothing could seem to regulate me, but I’ve found myself in my own quiet corner of the worl...

ChatGPT has created basically every dinner I’ve eaten for the last year

This started pretty innocently. I’d tell ChatGPT what meat I had thawed, what vegetables were dying in the fridge, and what time dinner needed to be ready. Then I’d ask: “What can I make with this?” Around the same time, my wife became interested in Chinese home cooking, because of health reasons (we're Canadians of European descent). Authentic Chinese home cooking (not the Canadian/Chinese restaurant cuisine) usually incorporates large amounts of vegetables and uses meat more as an ac...

NEW: OpenAI’s device - a human-like smart speaker - will look like a doughnut and be the size of a hockey puck. It meant to be held. It has a camera, speakers, microphones, lights and, most notably, moving parts to show interactivity. It’ll be $300-400.

A highly anticipated new device from OpenAI will have a unique look, complete with moving parts that help give it personality, and likely cost more than $300, according to people familiar with the matter. The product — essentially a smart speaker without a display — will be shaped like a doughnut that’s roughly the size of a hockey puck, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the work is confidential. The idea is to make the device easy to carry around the home with one hand. ...

GPT-5.6 Instant is now rolling out in ChatGPT, replacing 5.5 Instant

Looks like the switch has started. GPT-5.5 Instant has been deprecated and 5.6 Instant is now taking its place. I already have 5.6 Instant in ChatGPT, so the rollout is definitely live for at least some accounts. I’ve attached a couple of screenshots showing it running, along with today’s updated release notes. Free and Go users are also getting 5.6 Luna as their default model this week, which is a pretty significant upgrade on its own. Nice to finally see the 5.6 rollout happening. P...

Prompt: Your favourite game, but photographed like real life

I used the game Rust and Diablo IV as a reference for these two. The prompt I used: We live in a parallel universe where [GAME NAME] is the world we live in. It's a world like ours, where everything looks real life, but with another theme and rules. . Use all the extend of your capabilities to generate an unedited, ordinary 4:3 JPEG image from the private phone gallery of the main playable character in [GAME NAME] . This is a real mobile-phone photograph taken by that character, so it ...

Please add an option to stop ChatGPT from automatically scrolling to the bottom

Sometimes I’m reading an earlier part of a long conversation and want to send a new prompt about it. As soon as I send the prompt, ChatGPT automatically scrolls to the newest message, so I lose the section I was reading. It would be useful if ChatGPT could: Keep my current scroll position after I send a prompt Include a button to return to my previous reading position Does anyone else find the automatic scrolling inconvenient? Weirdest Question to ChatGPT?

I asked ChatGPT what was some of the weird questions it gets asked and it said: very specific, like: “Could a goose legally inherit a lighthouse?” or “If I mailed a potato to myself every year, would that count as a family tradition?” Honestly, the weird questions are often the most fun because they begin as nonsense and somehow turn into logistics, law, etiquette, and emotional commitment to a potato. ** I laughed. who is the person here with a goose that could inherit a lighthouse?...
