What Brand Stability Can Teach Us About Evaluating Any Long-Term Dependency
When I'm evaluating a third-party service, an open-source project, or a SaaS tool to build on top of, I face the same core problem every time: I can't know whether it'll still be reliable in three years. The docs look good. The pricing seems reasonable. The GitHub stars are healthy. But none of that tells me whether the thing is actually durable.
