I was 8th employee at a YC W24 startup (acquired by Square), first sales hire at a YC W25 startup, 6th employee at a 500 startups company, and more recently raised $3m for my own startup. I still see so many early stage Founders spending weeks obsessing about their YC application, and have even seen friends literally walk away from their startup just because they were rejected after the interview. so sad. submitted by /u/redsuitguy [link] [comments]
