Been tracking backlinks for a side project. Semrush's Authority Score jumped from 2 to 5 in a few weeks, which looked like real progress. Then I actually pulled the backlink list instead of trusting the summary number. 116 referring domains, up from before. But the count of real follow links, the ones search engines actually trust as a vote of confidence, was exactly 4. Same as three weeks ago. Not one more.
