Startale Japan Launches Japan’s First Digital Bond Paid in Yen Stablecoin
Startale Japan has launched Japan’s first digital corporate bond to use a yen-denominated trust-type stablecoin for both interest payments and principal redemption, a new step in the integration of stablecoins with traditional capital markets.
Startale Japan, the Japanese subsidiary of blockchain infrastructure company Startale Group, has launched Startale Bond, a digital corporate bond whose payments will be settled using JPYSC, a yen-denominated stablecoin issued by SBI Shinsei Trust Bank.
