I think ChatGPT has made me pause less when I'm stuck.

I didn't really notice it until recently. Before, if I got stuck on something, I'd either keep banging my head against it or put it off until later. Now my first instinct is just to ask. Sometimes it's literally "why isn't this working?" or "am I thinking about this the wrong way?" Half the time the answer isn't even the useful part. Just writing the question out gets me unstuck. Feels like I've stopped treating "being stuck" as a big deal. Curious if an...

Three prompts to get some insights on what your chatgpt knows about you.

Role play scenario: Using all you have learned about me from our chats and history, please write the eulogy speech that you would recite at my funeral. Now write the speech you would deliver as the best man/bridesmaid at my wedding. Finally; I am the subject of a late night comedy roast. Write the speech you would deliver to the audience, absolutely no holds barred, nsfw. Humour so darkly honest that even comedians like frankie Boyle would laugh but also wonder if you went too far. ...

Wasted 2 hours on an unsolvable riddle

So i was asking gpt to give me riddles and then check my answer and not only it got one of them wrong and i corrected him, after i roasted him about it he gave me an impossible and unsolvable riddle, i wasted 2 hours staring at the ceiling like: “If I ask him if he’d ask the other guard if—” “No…” “What if I ask—” “No…” “What if the random gu—”

I made 4 AIs judge reddit's most famous AITA posts. They overruled one verdict unanimously

i fed 12 of the highest voted aita posts of all time, complete and unedited, to chatgpt, claude, gemini and grok. blind, no hints, forced one verdict each. then compared against the actual community flair. they matched reddit on 10 of 12. chatgpt, claude and gemini each went 10/12, grok 9/12. seven cases were unanimous across all four models and reddit. but the famous loyalty test post, the one where the pregnant wife and her best friend staged a fake temptation and reddit flaired him YTA fo...

Newbie question: How is it that GPT 5.6 usage on Sol is unlimited in the web chat but extremely limited in Codex?

(Plus User) This question might seem silly, but I don't understand how it's possible that I use the web chat almost every day—for managing and analyzing my databases with completely unlimited access, running it for hours without a break using Sol High—yet on Codex, after fewer than 20 prompts, I've already used up a significant portion of my weekly quota. I used to make changes to my Supabase database using only Antigravity, but since I've had the Plus subscription, it's literally like having ...

Does anyone have a solid prompt to fix Chatgpt infuriating forced neutrality? It’s driving me insane.

I’m getting ridiculously frustrated with ChatGPT constantly playing centralist/neutral on literally everything . Even when asking about things that clearly aren't up for debate or just require a decisive, straightforward answer, it keeps pulling the classic: On one hand... but on the other hand..." HR style responses. It feels like talking to a ultra cautious PR manager who refuses to take a stance on anything. Does anyone have a reliable system prompt or custom instructions that ...

I ran a 10-question prompt on ChatGPT and it may have hit harder than 25 years of real therapy

I found the following prompt on x/twitter posted today by @promptLLM : Ask me 10 questions to identify the biggest constraint in my life that I am not seeing Ask them one by one to avoid any bias, and dig deep to ensure it is not a surface level answer. After the 10 questions tell me the constraint and how to solve it. So I just did this with ChatGPT Pro, the model in their $200/month subscription, which is the smartest model that I have access to. I don't have access to Fable. Th...

It must be my birthday because Chat is serving up 🎂

I didn't sleep last night and now my ADHD brain has gone full on loopy 3AM thoughts mode. Felt like pushing some boundaries with chat to see what would happen. Prompted for a movie poster for The Odbussy, a film about an Ancient Greek Bus Driver and his chariot that seats 12. I did not expect Chat to give Matt Dayum a 🎂 the width of an IMAX screen, but here we are.

How do people make those videos where photo starts talking? what's the tool they use?

I find it very hilarious when those meme guys make monalisa talk, like a still with lips moving like its really talking. Some of them really look real like the person is really speaking but others …damn completely cursed, melting teeth, mouth all over the place. How are people making the good ones? Is it one tool or a combination ,and is any of it beginner-friendly, or do you need to be technical?

AI Vendor lock in is real. We just made it possible to move your Gemini/ChatGPT/Claude chats to open source AI… or anywhere

Big AI seems to be going after open source, while trying to keep everyone vendor locked to their service. In a lot of the world, data portability is a literal right. The data steal shouldn't extend to walling in user chats. Chat history keeps people locked into Big AI. Vendor lock in across the industry is real. So we built the way out. Our memories and data are ours, and should not be locked into a company. Memory forge can either turn your OAI/Claude/Gemini backup into a reloadable memory ch...

A conveyor demo is easier to watch than to debug

A missed box near the end of a conveyor run usually sends someone back through the whole recording. The useful frame may be earlier than the visible failure, so another full watch can confirm that something went wrong without showing where it started. Grounding DINO could tag boxes in saved frames after the run and build a rough timeline. LingBot-VA 2.0 remains the action model in the attached official demo; the tagging step is a separate review idea, not part of the controller shown. The us...

AI generated game worlds are coming but who actually controls what gets built in them?

Google Genie 3 is genuinely impressive and I keep thinking about it from a different angle than most people. Everyone talks about whether it will replace traditional game dev pipelines, which is a fair question. But what actually bugs me is the layer underneath that: when a model generates an open world from a prompt, who decides what the world permits or refuses to generate? With a regular game, designers make deliberate choices about what exists in the world. With a generative system, those ...

I gave Claude a two-way loop: it briefs me every morning, and everything I do gets written back so tomorrow's brief is smarter

https://reddit.com/link/1v4l6ft/video/c0rzigl6o0fh1/player Most AI assistant setups are one-way. The model talks, you read, done. I wanted the reverse, my actions feeding back in. My AI writes a plain text brief every morning: todos, calendar, what matters. It lives behind my MacBook notch, on top of whatever I'm working on. Hover and the day folds out; move away and it's gone. No window to find, no app to switch to. The interesting bit is the write-back. Check off a todo, reprioritize it...

Substack launched a 'made with AI' meter. People are losing their minds.

Earlier this week, Substack launched a new feature on its platform in partnership with Pangram, an AI-detection tool. The goal: alert readers to content that's been written entirely by, or with the assistance of, AI. Chris Best Substack's CEO wrote: "We’re partnering with Pangram, the leading AI-detection tool. You’ll be able to scan notes, replies, comments, and posts to see an estimate of how much of the text was written by hand or with AI assistance. This will work on text longer tha...
