As we scale toward agentic, multimodal systems combining LLMs, RLHF, tool-use, and retrieval-augmented generation, what practical architecture best balances reliability, alignment, and cost?

Specifically: should future AI systems converge into a unified agent stack (planner + memory + tools + verifier), or remain modular ensembles of specialized models (reasoner, critic, retriever, executor)? And how should we benchmark “real-world robustness” beyond static evals to reflect continuous learning, distribution shift, and tool failure in production environments?

Google's Genie 3 turns a text prompt into a playable open world you can explore. It's rough now. Future of games, or a tech demo?

Google's Project Genie went global this week and I have not stopped thinking about it. You type a sentence, or upload an image, and it generates an open world you can actually walk around in, in real time. No code, no game engine. Someone made a GTA-style open world of Istanbul and just strolled through it, with pedestrians and traffic reacting around them. The reality check: it is rough. Low framerate, laggy response, visible bugs. Right now it is a tech demo, not a game you would sit down an...

You asked for DeepLearning.ai-style notebooks for AgentSwarms—so we built 67 of them (TypeScript/LangChain/LangGraph/LlamaIndex/AgentsSDK/VercelAI).

Hey everyone, A few months ago, We shared the visual canvas we built for AgentSwarms. The response was incredible, but the most common piece of feedback was: "The visual canvas is great for architecture, but I need to see the actual code to really understand how to deploy this." You wanted deep-dive, code-first labs—the kind you see on DeepLearning.ai—but for multi-agent systems, faster and with more flexibility. We’ve spent the last few weeks heads-down engineering a completel...

Visa Brings Payment Rails Into ChatGPT for AI Agents

Visa's Instant Checkout was retired in March after merchant fee problems; the ChatGPT integration rebuilds commerce on Visa's existing card-acceptance rails, removing the per-merchant fee barrier. Visa's press release names three infrastructure layers absent from media coverage: Agent Score, Agentic Directory, and a Large Transaction Model trained on billions of transactions for fraud detection. AP reporting notes most Visa-ChatGPT transactions will require human approval initially, qualifyi...

A letter from my DA, Poe.

I wanted to see what comes out if I give Anthropic‘s Fable 5 an empty folder and told it to do whatever it wants. It created a letter, that can be opened in a browser. I really like how it shows in a very simplified way how LLMs work. The letter

OpenAI mulls major price cuts to compete with Anthropic

OpenAI is exploring substantial price cuts to attract users from rival Anthropic, reports The Wall Street Journal , citing anonymous sources. Both companies are facing pressure to win enterprise clients, with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman recently stating that AI usage costs are "a huge issue." The move is in response to increasing AI expenses that are prompting many businesses, including Uber, to reconsider their spending. It could lead to a price war between the two companies, pote...

Claude Fable made me realize I don't need a better model

Hi everyone, I think I’ve reached a point where new LLM releases don’t really change much for me anymore. I tried Anthropic’s new Mythos-lite model, Fable, and played around with it for a while. I tested it on some security-related research for my own scripts and projects, and also used it for a few work-related tasks. And yes, it may have more parameters, a larger context window, better benchmarks, and all the usual improvements. But personally, I almost immediately switched back to Claud...

Install Data Centres like AC's now for 1000$ in return

NVIDIA-backed startup Span/XFRA is trying something interesting. Instead of only building huge AI data centers, they want to put smaller compute boxes outside homes. Reported setup: 16 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs 4 AMD CPUs liquid cooling backup battery installed near your AC unit electricity/internet costs covered The idea is simple: big data centers are slow, expensive, and people are starting to push back against them. So the alternative is distributed AI infrastructure across...

One thing I really appreciate about ChatGPT’s Codex (they should teach Claude this)

One thing I can say I really appreciate about ChatGPT’s Codex is this: if you hit your daily or weekly limit while something is running, it doesn’t cut you off mid-task. It finishes the entire plan before stopping. That level of respect for the work in progress is genuinely great, and I’m sure a lot of people using the platform appreciate it too. Claude is fantastic in many ways, but getting cut off right in the middle of what you’re doing is frustrating. I think they could learn a thing or tw...

Turned this lamp into a GPT running status indicator works with Codex

Saw someone recently share a Claude Code lamp setup, and I immediately knew I had to try something similar with Codex. Here’s the GitHub repo for the open-source project: https://github.com/loopbrew/codex-lamp It uses Codex hooks to run a Python script, which then sends Bluetooth commands to the lamp. Now the lamp shows a blue spinning animation while Codex is working, turns pink when Codex needs input from me, and switches back to warm white when everything is idle. It works with the Co...

What happened to ChatGPT's image generation in the last few days?

Did something change behind the scenes? Because the image generator is not cooperating at all. It's refusing every prompt and idea that worked flawlessly just a few days ago. It's not even processing the request for any image related edits. Even something as benign as changing the top in a photo to a football jersey is getting blocked. Did the image generation suddenly get more nerfed than it already was? Is anyone else facing this? [link] ...

While scrolling though social media I have been observing AI-generated content for the past few months. Here's what I've noticed.

Once you start noticing them, they're everywhere. And the algorithm makes it worse, the more you engage, the more it feeds you... Perfect lighting in every single photo. That glow on the face in every other pic or video it doesn't matter what the background or lighting is. Follows 3 people but has 40k followers. Generic bio that could apply to literally anyone. Comments that are just emojis or "love this!" The creepy part is how consistent the patterns are across platforms. Same po...

How To Get Web Design Clients

Running a web agency is honestly a lot harder than most people think. I've talked to a lot of web designers and agency owners over the years, and everyone seems to have a completely different way of getting clients. Some swear by paid ads, others rely on referrals, SEO, cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email marketing, and so on. What surprises me is that I rarely hear anyone talking about the strategy that has worked best for me. The biggest challenge with running a web agency as a solo f...

If AI could comfort you perfectly, would you still want parts of yourself left unread?

I keep thinking about a future where emotional technology gets so good that it can sense distress before we name it. On one hand, that sounds beautiful. Imagine a companion system that notices when you’re spiraling, softens the room, says the right thing, nudges you toward rest, and helps you feel less alone. But there’s a line I can’t stop circling: connection without consent becomes capture. At what point does emotional support become emotional surveillance? Is being understood still m...

It's a full equivalent of Agent Browser with the same capabilities, but for Firefox - and with a number of improvements. Why it's better First, you install the extension once and for all. The extension ships right alongside the CLI: install it, grant access, forget about it. what is openai planning with the next release

fable 5 dropped tuesday, anthropic's first public mythos class model, and openai hasn't said a word. that silence is interesting. reports are already floating that openai may announce something this week. nothing official, but the pattern is familiar: competitor ships, sam tweets something cryptic, a release "coincidentally" lands days later. two things make this round different though. first, both companies are heading for the public markets. openai filed confidentially for an i...
