Show HN: MAVS-GC – An Open-Source Governance Architecture for AI Systems

Hey HN, For some period of the time, I have been working on an open source project called MAVS-GC (Multi Adaptive Vetting Systems-Governance Core). The project explores whether introducing an explicit governance layer on top of multiple specialists can change system behavior under adverse conditions. Instead of focusing solely on prediction aggregation, the governance layer evaluates specialists, aggregates diagnostic signals, adjusts trust, performs bounded mitigation, and produces an auditable...

Ask HN: What's your favorite AI tool for front end design?

Can anyone tell me how this was made, I'm breaking my head but can't figure it out

This ai influencer has gotten me going crazy , how is this profile posting multiple reels a day all of same MID quality. I've thought of all the model they could be using but I can't recreate the same effect using ,comfyui REActor, inswapper, but it's quality doesn't match that of kling or higgsfield and it doesn't look completely animated either. So someone please help me deconstruct this workflow. The ai model itself is good but the overall video quality is sometimes good and sometimes bad. ...

Demystifying AI Episode 1: What AI Really Is and Why It Matter

Welcome to Episode 1 of my new podcast series Demystifying AI . This series is designed to cut through the hype and confusion around artificial intelligence and give you a clear, grounded understanding of what AI actually is. In this first episode, I break down the fundamentals: • What AI really is under the hood • What AI is not (no magic, no consciousness, no hidden intentions) • Why so many myths and misunderstandings exist • How modern AI systems learn through pattern recognitio...

What is going on with my ChatGPT?

My ChatGPT has been having this issue lately where rather than the usual 10 messages per 5 hour period, it's only allowing for 5 messages per 5 hour period. My relatives' ChatGPT appears to be relatively fine. So idk why mine is acting up. Been this way for a week now. Idk if it's overloaded memory, too many chats, or smthg? Anyone been through this before, and anyone know how to fix this? Btw, I do use the Free version btw, in case anyone's asking. ...

The biggest limitation in AI-generated analysis isn't the model

I've been experimenting with GPT-based workflows for economic and trade analysis, and I've come to the conclusion that the biggest limitation isn't reasoning but data access. Modern models can already identify trends, generate dashboards, write reports, and create visualizations, but if the underlying data is missing, outdated, or unreliable, the final output can still be wrong while looking completely convincing (and that can even be dangerous for the analysis) I asked an AI agent to analyz...

What makes ai better than humans ?

That's the question i asked claude and was really bothering me lately first i was wondering when can we claim that ai reached agi level is it when the llm reach the human level of thinking? But doesn't human build their critical, logical and emotional thinking from their experiences just like how we train ai through data. So then is it when the ai stop using pattern recognition and start creating things from the scratch like the human does? But no human doesn t create things from scratch he just...

ChatGPT has absorbed the worst traits of tech reporting

I use ChatGPT mostly for some academic research support and a bit of coding. Trying to quickly get an overview on a subject I need to know something about that I don't usually work on. I know what limitations it has in principle. It cannot make an argument to save it's life. This week I realised I need a new phone. What could be a better use of ChatGPT when it has been trained on the vast volumes of technical specs and reviews out on the internet? It can go down the rabbit hole and bring me t...

AI Browser Game Jam 3 Submissions Closed - 85 entries!

The 3rd AI Browser Game Jam just wrapped submissions, and it went really well: 119 people joined and 85 browser games were submitted. The jam is focused on experimenting with AI-assisted game development. Any tools were allowed for code, art, music, design, sound, etc. The goal was to make something playable, share the process, and see what people could build. Judging/ratings are open now, so feel free to check out the entries and play some games!

ChatGPT macOS Project chats no longer accessing local repo

I’m trying to restore a workflow that used to work reliably in the ChatGPT macOS app: I’d open a new chat inside a Project, paste a handoff prompt, and the assistant could run terminal commands directly against a local repo. Now new Project chats still load the project instructions/memory, but the execution environment is empty ( /workspace or / ) and has no mounted repo or .git . Even when I attach Terminal through “Work With Apps” and the Terminal pill appears, commands like pwd still exe...

Moving people in AI first organization

One challenge I am finding in the organisations regarding how to move the work force towards AI adoption and to a point where people and AI part of the process kind of synchronous. Can someone help me with defining some sub-divisions in 'people' so that those can become the focus area

Quality of LLM outputs

Shower thought I had walking to work - ran it through an LLM afterward because my English can be rather shitty. Some background about me. I have a CS degree, was in school when ChatGPT dropped, used it during school, even took a machine learning elective because of it. Love the technology, but I've always been skeptical of its capabilities. Since I first used ChatGPT I've wondered how it actually generates answers. It seemed like magic. The reality is infinitely more boring though. Math. At ...

I built a tiny gate that stops AI coding agents from saying “done” unless they actually ran a passing check

One of the most annoying things with AI coding agents is this pattern: “Done.” Then you look closer and it never ran the test, build, or app. I built a small tool to force proof before the agent can finish: agent-done-or-not What it does: - wraps the real verification command - records command + exit code + SHA-256 of the output - blocks the agent from finishing unless the latest check is fresh and passing So instead of: “should be fixed” you get: “here is the passing rec...

Warning violations

So I asked codex to make me a copy of one of my RDS for internal testing. I gave it details on how to access it using the aws cli. But just asking it to do that it flagged me and reported me for violating something. I submitted an appeal and that it was going to be “reviewed by a team member” but it was rejected. What happens when you get flagged? Is there a number of times you can be flagged in certain periods of time? The strange part is that I asked codex for more info and it told me tha...
