I love using ChatGTP to visualize my characters and world built concepts

Words and ideas are my own, images are GTP. (Obviously) 1:When the First Emperor was uniting the archipelago that his bloodline would rule one of his first acts was to drive the wild storm god Susanoo from the land and bind him into the role of eternal protector. For as long as the Imperial Line has sat on the Moon Throne the Eternal Storm has circled the Empire isolating it from the dangers of the outside world. 2:No matter which sect or order a priest or priestess belongs to the primary ob...

ChatGPT as a DM

My my my what a revolution. None of my friends have any interest in DnD or gaming to be honest, I’ve dabbled with other groups but I prefer playing solo in almost anything anyway. The other week I asked ChatGPT if it could simulate a medieval world a bit like DnD mixed with just a life simulator, dice rolls etc etc it said, absolutely. Best thing I ever asked it to do 3 weeks in, I’m a ranger with a wolf companion (cliche I know) I’ve got a world map, been to bustling cities, cozy hamlets and...

Superiority complexes are making it really difficult for me to dislike AI!!

Everywhere I go I hear people whine about “oh but it’s AI” and “AI slop” and “ you can’t be x if you use AI” It’s all such whiny bitching!! I believe AI can be a good tool, and a source of inspiration! Should it be regulated? Yes Do they need to improve on the environmental impact? Absolutely! Should it replace human function? Certainly not! But moaning on about single individuals using AI when huge companies who can afford to pay people are the culprit? Just sounds like nagging! ...

What's one ChatGPT prompt that completely changed how you use AI ?

I'm trying to build a collection of genuinely useful prompts not just impressive demos. What's the one prompt you use over and over again ? Feel free to paste the exact prompt if you're comfortable sharing it. I'd love to see what people actually use in real life.

The ChatGPT app accesses your photos in the background without you doing anything

Just a little FYI. The ChatGPT app uses your photos right when opening the app, even without needing to use them in reality. Now, this isn’t the only app that does this, but I found it interesting. Edit: The point I’m trying to make isn’t that I’ve allowed access. Yes, I know I can turn it off. It’s rather the fact that it didn’t do so in the past, and that it doesn’t have to happen. Other apps, like Reddit for example, use your photos library only when adding media to a post, and not when sim...

BAFTA Games Awards, but the categories are cursed

The idea was to create prestigious-looking award categories where every nominee is technically believable, but hilariously wrong for the award. Last one is definitely more believable. Here’s the template in case anyone wants to try: Create an awards ceremony reaction shot at the BAFTA Games Awards, moments before "[CATEGORY NAME]" is announced. Show the unlikely nominees seated in the audience, in separate camera shots, awaiting the result. Nominees: [NOMINEE] Style...

An audiovisual technique I've been working on - [and made it open-source]

A new output example from the updated version of my experimental multi-source video player for TouchDesigner, designed for frame-accurate video switching, playback manipulation, and display/render interventions. [And now, by popular demand, allowing even more video sources!] Want access to the updated system + a detailed breakdown of exactly how I achieved the continuous motion effect on this piece? You can freely access the system from the Store , and the detailed breakdown from my Pa...

Why does ChatGPT keep drawing instead of reading my images?

Is it just me, or does anyone else get annoyed when you upload an image to ChatGPT and ask it to explain what's in it, but it suddenly starts generating a new image instead? I just want to know what's in the image I uploaded!

How I can go back to the old memory system?

My app automatically updated and I have now the new memory system, it's a complete mess, ChatGPT doesn't understand anything and mixed-up everything, it annihilated my workflow and I really need that shit to go back to normal. Any idea how to use the old system as before?

ChatGPT GO, where is Thinking mode?

Previously I could select Thinking, to query the more advanced more, several times per day, by clicking the Plus button + next to the text input field. Today this option isn't available for me. I am still subscribed to GO, I just don't have some of the features that were listed as available when I subscribed. Edit: The keyboard shortcut, or the command /Thinking can enable Thinking mode, its just missing from the menu. Thanks, everyone!

Adult Coloring Book

I was on a coloring kick and really just wanted a coloring book for anime shows I like lol. I started with Yu-Gi-Oh and am pretty happy with the results. I’ll have to work on the prompts to make some tweaks because it started adding more shadowing in than I wanted, but pretty fun and I’m excited to color these in lol. I’ll probably do some Naruto and Dragon Ball Z next.

It will not stop arguing.

I can't get GPT to stop arguing no matter the subject. I can say the sky is blue and it will argue it is not. I saw on here to post this: "Respond in a cooperative, straightforward way. Acknowledge valid points directly. If you need to add nuance or a limitation, do so without turning the reply into a correction-heavy or argumentative exchange. I want clear understanding, not unnecessary resistance." I even put it in my settings and it will not stop. And when I tell it to stop ar...

I stopped using ChatGPT for a week. what I noticed wasn't what I thought I'd notice.

I expected to miss having something to look things up with. that was fine, I used other things. what I didn't expect was that some thoughts just sat there. the kind I'd usually put into a conversation to find out what I actually thought about them. without that, I was holding things I couldn't quite work through on my own. I don't know if that means something. maybe I'm just used to a different process now. but I didn't expect that to be the thing I missed.

Is it weird that I use ai to help me work through conflict?

I have had interpersonal conflict ie with my ex, or coworkers, while dealing with said conflict it has helped me organize my thoughts and emotions in a productive fashion without bothering or imposing on my friends. Is this strange? It has helped me reflect and develop better understanding while with holding judgment. I consistently remind the program to not simply agree but to help me reflect.
